Dr. Jörg Immanuel Herrfurth, M.I.Tax, has a wealth of experience in the field of tax. Dr. Jörg Immanuel most recently served as the Director of Corporate Tax at PHOENIX group - Integrated Healthcare Provider since August 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Global Tax at M+W Group from November 2014 to July 2017. Dr. Jörg Immanuel also served as the Head of National Tax (Germany) at Freudenberg Group from November 2009 to October 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Tax Manager at KPMG Deutschland from April 2008 to March 2009 and as the Head of Group Finance, Accounting & Tax at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbH from May 2003 to March 2008. Dr. Jörg Immanuel began their career as an Audit Manager at BDO Germany, where they worked from April 1998 to April 2003.

Continuing their studies, they attended Hochschule Merseburg from 1995 to 1998 and obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Betriebswirtschaft.

In 2005, Dr. Herrfurth enrolled at the University of Hamburg, specializing in Internationales Steuerrecht. After completing their studies in this field, they earned a Master of International Taxation degree in 2007. Continuing to enhance their expertise, they obtained a certification as a Steuerberater from the Steuerberaterkammer Berlin in February 2003.

Dr. Herrfurth's educational journey culminated in a doctoral degree at Cyprus International University, where they focused on Betriebswirtschaft - Internationales Steuerrecht. Dr. Jörg Immanuel pursued their doctoral studies from 2016 to 2022, further solidifying their knowledge in the field.
