Beth Cline is currently a Pigment Support at Phoenix Tailings. Beth previously worked as a Chemical Engineering Co-op at Saint-Gobain Research North America from July 2019 to December 2019. There, they supported shingle manufacturing plants to meet various specifications via benchtop testing. Beth also simulated field stressors to commercial products, ensuring mechanical and chemical properties met industry standards. Beth also developed new reaction protocol for binder component to be implemented into plants, in which water was the byproduct instead of the original hazardous byproduct. In addition, they aided several other departments on projects including asphalt rheology, binder formulation, and glass fiber orientation. Beth also functioned as temporary lab manager and EHS point in CertainTeed Roofing R&D Lab.
Before working at Saint-Gobain Research North America, Beth was a Chemical Engineering Intern at Next Rung Technology from May 2019 to June 2019. There, they aided in design and chemical theory of new technologies and processes. Beth also interfaced with clients for plan implementation. Furthermore, they organized and developed business prospects in the New York and Northeast regions. Finally, Beth researched and organized grant information for clients.
Beth’s first professional experience was as a Chemical Engineering Co-op at Via Separations from July 2018 to January 2019.
Beth Cline has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Spanish Minor in Spanish Language and Literature from CLIC International House.
