Marcus Marjama

Marcus Marjama has a diverse work experience in the engineering field.

Marcus most recently worked at Photon Marine as the VP of Engineering starting in 2023.

Prior to that, Marcus worked at Nautilus Inc. for a significant portion of their career. Their roles at Nautilus included Director of Mechanical Engineering & Advanced Development, Sr. Manager of Mechanical Engineering & Advanced Development, Sr. Manager of Innovation, Mechanical Engineering Manager, Lead Engineer, and Sr. Mechanical Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects of design, development, and innovation in the home fitness industry. Marcus led teams in creating unique consumer experiences and driving the success of new products. Notable accomplishments include the design and development of the SelectTech 560 Dumbbell and the Bowflex Max Trainer, which received awards and generated significant sales.

Prior to their time at Nautilus, Marcus worked at MotoCzysz as a Senior Chassis & Suspension Engineer. Marcus contributed to the development of an all-new road race motorcycle and supported later success with an electric motorcycle.

Marcus Marjama has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management from Marylhurst University. Marcus also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Oregon State University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marcus obtained certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in October 2021, and from NESTA in May 2013.
