Miroslav Savel

Miroslav Savel began their work experience in 2019 as a Software Programmer at Union poisťovňa a.s., Union zdravotná poisťovňa a.s. Miroslav was primarily responsible for editing modules for sending reminders manually or automatically and implementing the backend part of a new insurance product. Miroslav also created procedures, select statements, and views, and handled data processing for the marketing and sales departments.

In 2021, Savel joined the National Security Authority Slovakia as an Incident Handler, where they worked until 2022.

Currently, Savel is working as a Software Developer at Photoneo, starting in 2022.

Miroslav Savel completed their education in a chronological order. Miroslav started their education journey at Ladislav Novomeský Grammar school from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a School leaving certificate with a field of study in Information Technology. Following that, they attended the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from 2012 to 2014, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics. Later, from 2014 to 2019, Miroslav pursued their Master's degree in Genetics at Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Natural Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Miroslav Savel has obtained several certifications. In May 2019, they obtained the UNICERT C1 English certification from UNICERT CERTIFICATION. More recently, in November 2021, Miroslav obtained the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst GCFA certification from GIAC Certifications and the SANS FOR508: Advanced Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Digital Forensics certification from SANS Institute. Additionally, in August 2021, they received the Mile2 IHE: Certified Incident Handling Engineer certification from Mile2.
