Shimon Braff

Shimon Braff is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Senior Engineer Manager in Equipment Engineering at Photronics since 2003, Shimon is responsible for establishing and organizing application support and training programs for technical support engineers and equipment operators globally. Prior to this, Shimon held the position of Vice President of Research & Development at Alternate Systems from 2001 to 2003, where responsibilities included developing precision measurement and calibration apparatus for high-profile clients. Shimon also worked at Applied Materials as an Application Product Manager from 1996 to 2001, overseeing mask inspection and lithography technology implementation for major customers. Earlier career experience includes leading the Customer Support Group at Orbot Instrument from 1994 to 1996, contributing to the establishment of the US branch focused on automatic visual inspection machinery. Shimon holds a Master of Science in Business Management from Lesley University and has an educational background from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
