Anurag Basant is a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at PW (PhysicsWallah) since May 2024, previously serving as a Senior AI Engineer at HealthifyMe and as the Founder of mlinterview.tech. Anurag's experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at Gojek, where advanced causal inference techniques were utilized to optimize pricing strategies for four-wheel transportation, enhancing profitability. Anurag also managed the complete lifecycle of machine learning models for transportation in Singapore and Indonesia. At Freshworks, a tag prediction feature for incoming tickets was designed and implemented, improving agent efficiency. Anurag began as a Business Analyst at Treebo Hotels, using natural language processing to analyze sentiments in reviews. Anurag holds an Integrated MS in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, earned between 2011 and 2016.
