Gia Ngoc Phung is a highly experienced research scientist currently employed at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since October 2019. Previously, Gia worked as an RF/Microwave Engineer at Ferdinand-Braun-Institut from November 2015 to September 2019 and as a Research Engineer at BIOTRONIK from January 2013 to October 2015. Gia's career began at Ferdinand-Braun-Institut as a Research Assistant, from October 2008 to December 2012, focusing on EM simulation of passive devices in the Microwave Department. Early experience includes a role as a Studentische Hilfskraft at Technische Universität Berlin, where supporting teaching and supervising first-semester students was a primary responsibility. Gia holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, obtained in April 2021, and also completed a Diplom-Ingenieurin in Electrical Engineering at the same institution from 2005 to 2012.
