Swaroop Poudel has held various roles in a number of companies since 2010. In 2010, they were a Research Intern at the Council on Foreign Relations in the Center for Geoeconomics Studies. From 2011 to 2017, they were a Senior Analyst and Analyst at Compass Lexecon, an Account Executive at Achievable, and a Corporate Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates. In 2019, they became the Director of Partnerships and Business Development at Design Everest, where they led team efforts to secure partnerships for the company's biggest and most strategic residential and commercial projects across California. Currently, they are the Director, Community Success and Partnerships at Pi Network and Pi Core Team, where they are responsible for developing a utilities-based ecosystem of third-party apps on their mobile web platform.

Swaroop Poudel began their education in 2006, when they obtained a Bachelors in Arts from Reed College, majoring in Economics and Mathematics. In 2014, they attended the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, where they obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with a Law and Technology Certificate. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Quantic School of Business and Technology. In 2018, they attended edX to pursue a Computer Science course. Finally, in 2019, they obtained a Commercial Real Estate Certificate from Cornell University.
