Markus Spanner has a strong work experience background. Markus began their career as a Vorstandsassistent at MAN from September 2005 to February 2007. In October 2007, they joined PI (Physik Instrumente) Group as a Managing Director and continues to hold this position. Additionally, Markus became the CEO of PI Group in January 2020. Markus also served as the Managing Director CFO at PI from April 2012 to September 2014.
Markus Spanner attended the Tokyo Naganuma Language School in 2007, where they studied Japanese. From 2003 to 2005, they pursued a Master of International Business degree at Bond University.
