Carmine Parletta

Carmine Parletta currently serves as the Group Head of Health and Safety at Piaggio Group since July 2021, responsible for promoting a robust health and safety culture across the organization worldwide. Prior roles include serving as Sustainability Manager at Philip Morris International and HSE Head at Novartis. At Clariant, Carmine held the position of Country HSE & Quality Manager, overseeing health, safety, environment, and quality for multiple sites in Italy, while managing a team of ten. Previous experience includes working as HSE and General Services Site Manager at Sanofi and Safety Health Environment and Technical Services Manager at L'Oreal. Carmine's career began at Procter & Gamble in R&D focused on environmentally friendly product development. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Environment and Safety Management from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, a degree in Chemistry from Università di Pisa, and additional qualifications in HSE culture development, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, and auditing of management systems.
