Frank Kim

Frank (Choong Hee) Kim is an Applied Research Scientist at Pickle Robot Company, specializing in Physical AI with a focus on differentiable physics-based contact modeling and VLM finetuning. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Cornell University, engaging in projects ranging from underactuated manipulation to 3D tracking using deep learning and algorithm development for logistics and military applications. Frank's leadership experience includes being the CEO of VTXKOREA, where vehicle design optimization software was developed. Earlier roles also encompass research at the University of Michigan and internships at prominent organizations like MIT and WiVision.
