Ben Tappin

Ben Tappin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing and implementing software solutions across various domains. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Piclo since November 2022, Ben previously worked as a Senior Developer (Contract) at Sonata Media where responsibilities included leading backend development and designing REST APIs using Python and Django. Ben's consulting experience includes significant projects such as building GUI applications for brain scanning technologies and developing a marketing tool for Spotify at Code Kitchen. Additional roles at Kobalt Music and AWAL involved platform integrations and music distribution solutions, contributing to scalable business operations. Ben has a foundational background in web development and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing with Artificial Intelligence from the University of Leeds.
