Kitching Yau

Kitching Yau has extensive experience in the field of tax, with a career spanning several companies. Their most recent position was at Pico, where they served as the Global Head of Tax. Prior to that, they held the role of Tax Director at Pico, where they oversaw all aspects of the tax function, including financial reporting, compliance, and indirect tax reporting.

Before joining Pico, Kitching Yau worked at Marsh McLennan, where they held various positions, including Director, US Tax Compliance, Director - Special Tax Analysis/Process Improvements, and Business Unit Tax Manager. During their time at Marsh McLennan, they managed tax compliance and reporting, led transformation projects, and conducted analysis to mitigate financial reporting risks.

Earlier in their career, Kitching Yau worked at Kroll as a Tax Consultant/Manager, where they managed tax operations, compliance, and played a key role in the sale of the company. They also worked at Kitching Yau, CPA as a Business and Tax Consultant, providing advisory services and income tax preparation for clients in Hong Kong and China.

Prior to that, Kitching Yau held the position of Greater China Regional Tax Manager at Oracle, where they managed tax planning and compliance for subsidiaries in the Greater China region. They also worked at KPMG China and KPMG, where they gained experience in tax management and provided services to multinational corporations.

Overall, Kitching Yau has a strong background in tax management, compliance, and financial reporting, with a focus on process improvement and risk mitigation.

Kitching Yau has a Master of Science - MS in Taxation from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Accounting, also from Baruch College. In 1990, Yau obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Education Department.
