Brian Carlson

Brian Carlson currently serves as the Underwriting Team Lead at Pie Insurance, a position held since July 2021, after progressing through roles including Senior Underwriter and Underwriter. Prior to joining Pie Insurance, Brian spent four years at The Hartford, where roles included Small Commercial Underwriter and Senior Associate Underwriter. Earlier experience includes serving as a Banking and Insurance Specialist at USAA from July 2016 to May 2017. Brian Carlson earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 2010 and 2016.
