Robert Wilkerson

Robert Wilkerson is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in mine planning, geologic modeling, and project management. Currently serving as Senior Mining Engineer at Piedmont Lithium Inc. since April 2022, Robert previously contributed to OceanaGold Corporation as General Foreman and Senior Drill and Blast Engineer, focusing on health and safety compliance and optimization of mining operations. Robert's career also includes roles at Buckley Powder Company, Newmont Corporation, and BHP Billiton, where responsibilities ranged from technical sales to strategic planning and process improvement using Six Sigma and LEAN principles. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and furthered education through the BHP Billiton Foundations for Graduates Programme.
