Alejandra Ojeda-Beck is an experienced lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley since August 2018 and serves as a school psychologist for the Piedmont Unified School District since August 2017. Prior to these roles, Alejandra was a doctoral candidate at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Education from August 2011 to August 2018, and served as the executive director of Muhuy from January 2010 to August 2018, where efforts were focused on supporting displaced persons through microlending initiatives. Alejandra holds a Ph.D. in School Psychology from UC Berkeley (2012-2017), a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies from the University of San Diego (2007-2008), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from the University of California, Davis (2002-2006).
