Laura Sanders

Laura Sanders has a diverse range of work experience. Laura started their career as an Audit Experienced Staff at Arthur Andersen, LLP in July 1997 and worked there until April 1999. Laura then joined Lionheart Newspaper, LLC as a Corporate Reporting/Treasury Management Analyst from April 1999 to November 2000. Laura then moved on to Burlington Resources, where they worked as a Corporate Accounting Supervisor from November 2000 to March 2007. After that, they joined BNSF Railway as a Manager, Finance - Engineering Operating Budgets and worked there from May 2007 to April 2010. Most recently, Laura served as the Director of Finance at Pier 1 starting in December 2010.

Laura Sanders has a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. Laura is also a Certified Public Accountant certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
