Greg Pattie

Greg Pattie is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Director and Lifting Director & Engineering Lead at Pier Solutions since June 2021. Prior to this, Greg was the Managing Director of Guideline Solutions Ltd, a company founded after graduation with a Bachelor of Engineering degree that focuses on freelance design with a strong mechanical background. Greg's career includes roles as Engineering & Design Manager at Safelift Offshore Ltd and Industrial Sales/Project Engineer at David Ritchie (Implements) Ltd, where project management and business development were key responsibilities. With a background in mechanical engineering, Greg has worked globally to provide engineering support at National Oilwell Varco and has developed a solid foundation in design and project management from previous positions. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Offshore Engineering from Robert Gordon University, alongside various qualifications in mechanical and civil engineering from North East Scotland College and Dundee and Angus College.
