Lauren Angelo

Lauren Angelo is an experienced grant writer and prospect research associate currently working at Pierce County Library System since February 2020, focusing on writing and securing grants from private and corporate foundations. Prior to this role, Lauren worked at Metropolitan Development Council as a grant writer and development coordinator from July 2017 to February 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a transportation planner extra-hire for Pierce County, where the focus was on facilitating commute options for the JBLM community, and as a planning and development services intern for the City of Tacoma. Lauren's career began at U.S. Bank as a bank teller. Educational qualifications include a degree in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Washington Tacoma and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from Tacoma Community College.
