Ankush Sharma

Ankush Sharma has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ankush began their career as an Article Trainee at Dewan P.N. & Chopra in 2008 and worked there until 2011. Ankush then worked as an Industrial Trainee at Gaursons India Limited from 2011 to 2012, where they gained experience in internal and statutory audits, financial statement preparation, and income tax returns.

From 2013 to 2016, Ankush worked as an Associate Consultant at Wipro Infotech, focusing on IT risk management during ERP implementations and rollouts. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing IT controls, performing risk assessments, and preparing audit reports with recommendations.

Next, Ankush joined AXA XL in 2016 as an Assistant Manager, where they were responsible for IT risk management during an ERP migration. Ankush reviewed business and IT processes, negotiated audit parameters, and ensured procedural efficiency and accuracy.

In 2018, Ankush joined the British Council as an Assistant Manager, where they concentrated on developing and improving risk controls across the organization. Ankush conducted risk assessments and prioritized compliance areas for the British Council's group companies.

From 2019 to 2022, Ankush worked at Teleperformance India as a Manager, overseeing SOC reporting, compliance, data privacy, cybersecurity, fraud investigation, and forensic audits. Their duties included conducting risk assessments, implementing controls, and assessing SOC readiness.

Currently, Ankush holds the position of Associate Director - Technology Risk at Pierian Services since 2022. In this role, they lead and grows the Technology Risk Advisory Practice, providing a wide range of technology risk services such as IT application risk audits, SOX/ICOFR/IFC compliance, cybersecurity, and IT audit transformation.
