Gang Wang

Gang Wang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Gang is currently working as the Director of Global Channel Partnerships at Velsera. Before that, they held the same position at Pierian. Prior to their roles in the software industry, Gang worked as the Marketing Director at Daicel Arbor Biosciences.

Gang's previous experience includes working at Illumina, where they served as the Global Channel Partners Leader and later as the Global Product Marketing Manager. Before that, they worked at the College of American Pathologists (CAP) as a Business Development Leader for the Greater Middle East Region. In this role, they managed top-tier clinical lab accounts, drove revenue growth for proficiency testing products, and acquired new clients.

At GE Healthcare, Gang held multiple positions, including Global Product Marketing Manager and Sales Specialist & Field Application Scientist. In these roles, they managed life science products, developed marketing strategies, coordinated cross-functional team efforts, and provided technical support.

Before joining GE Healthcare, Gang worked at Abbott Laboratories as a Senior Molecular Biologist. Here, they led investigations into the biological mechanisms of cancer drugs and managed genetic biomarker projects.

Gang's early career includes a role as a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School. There, they invented techniques for genome amplification, applied them to solve problems for collaborators, and developed web-based software for data mining and analysis.

Gang Wang received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Jilin University between 1990 and 1994. Gang then pursued a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at The University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine from 1996 to 2001. Later, Gang Wang completed an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, from 2008 to 2010.
