Wendi Bennett

Wendi Bennett currently serves as an Academic & Career Advisor at Shawnee State University and as a Small Business Resource Navigator at The Chillicothe/Ross County Chamber of Commerce, focusing on public relations, marketing, and business services since October 2020. Additionally, Wendi has been a Business Development Specialist at the Community Action Committee of Pike County since July 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating marketing strategies, grant writing, and participant case management. Previous experience includes a role as a Workforce & Business Case Management Specialist and Business Services Coordinator at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, overseeing various workforce development programs. Early career experience as a Career Specialist involved assisting at-risk high school students in achieving educational goals. Wendi holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration/Health Policy and another in Education/Fine Arts, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies.
