Amber Carney

Amber Carney is a mechanical system engineer at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd, with significant experience in developmental flight testing of autonomous drones. Having worked as a staff flight test engineer and director at Wisk, and in various roles at General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Amber has developed expertise in creating test plans and procedures for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Amber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and has furthered education with courses at the National Test Pilot School. Previous experience includes design engineering projects for military UAS, a successful human-powered helicopter competition, and initiatives in student aerospace organizations.
