Jordan Aldersley has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences and bioinformatics. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Rochester Medical Center until May 2017. Following this, Jordan joined the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a Research Fellow, where they worked from May 2017 to August 2019. In September 2019, Jordan transitioned to a role as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Pillar Biosciences Incorporated, where they contributed until August 2021. They then progressed to the position of Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at the same company and continued in this role until their most recent position as the Manager of Product Development, which they began in March 2022.
Jordan Aldersley completed their high school education at Irondequoit High School from 1998 to 2002. They then went on to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2007, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General. After that, Jordan pursued further education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. From 2007 to 2011, they obtained a Master's degree in Genetics, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Genetics from 2007 to 2014.
