Burrell Michael

Burrell Michael has extensive experience in records management, currently serving as the Firmwide Records Manager at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP since February 2013. In this role, Burrell Michael oversees the design and implementation of processes that support the firm's information governance efforts, ensuring compliance with regulations related to client and business information management. Prior to this, Burrell Michael was a Records Manager at the same firm, where responsibilities included managing the lifecycle of representation records and providing leadership in operations management. Burrell Michael's career in records management began at Foley & Lardner LLP, where the role evolved from Records Supervisor to supporting the establishment of a functioning Records Department. Burrell Michael obtained education at Virginia Union University from 1994 to 1996.
