Sara Theile

Sara Theile has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sara is currently the Director of Business Development - Litigation & Regulatory at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, a position they have held since April 2023. Before joining Pillsbury, Sara worked at Covington & Burling LLP as a Senior Business Development Manager from May 2022 to April 2023 and as a Business Development Manager from August 2020 to May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Winston & Strawn LLP in various roles, including Business Development Manager, Senior Global Practice Development Specialist, Global Practice Development Specialist, and Attorney Recruitment & Development Coordinator - Mid-Atlantic. Before their time at Winston & Strawn, Sara was a Recruiter at RC Associates from December 2010 to May 2016 and an Associate Attorney at Sinnott Nuckols & Logan from September 2008 to July 2010. Sara began their legal career as a Staff Attorney at the Central Virginia Legal Aid Society from January 2007 to August 2008 and as a Domestic Violence Fellow at the Virginia Poverty Law Center from August 2005 to December 2006.

Sara Theile obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Richmond School of Law from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government from William & Mary from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Sara obtained a Florida State Bar license in 2015 and a Virginia State Bar license with Associate Status in 2005.
