Reza Jafari has extensive experience in the petrochemical industry. Reza began their career as a Production Engineer at Arak (Shazand) Petrochemical Company, where they worked on the ethylene oxide/ethylene glycols/ethanol amines plant. Reza then joined the National Petrochemical Company as a Process Safety/Process Engineer, responsible for the development, operation, research, and technology of Iran's petrochemical sector. Reza's most recent role is with Pilot Chemical Company, where they serve as a Corporate Process Engineer.

Reza Jafari has a diverse education history. Reza earned a Bachelor's degree in Petrochemical Engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. After completing their undergraduate studies, Reza pursued further education and obtained an MS degree in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. Prior to their university education, Reza attended Dr.Esmaieli High School from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a diploma in Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, Reza has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Some of these certifications include Process Safety from AIChE - American Institute of Chemical Engineers in February 2019, AutoCAD 2D Design & Advance from the University of Houston-Downtown in April 2018, and Process Safety Management (PSM) from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training in February 2018.
