Jennifer Madrid is the current Dean of Students at Pima Community College. Jennifer has previously worked as an agent for New York Life Insurance Company and as an Assistant Director of Admissions for the Art Institute of Tucson.

Jennifer Madrid began their career in 2009 as an agent for New York Life Insurance Company. In this role, they sold individual life insurance and long term care policies, assisted clients in developing individual retirement plans, and customized insurance programs to suit individual customers. Jennifer also developed marketing strategies to compete with other companies and ensured that policy requirements were fulfilled. In 2007, they left New York Life Insurance Company to become the Assistant Director of Admissions for the Art Institute of Tucson. In this role, they conducted outreach and recruitment of qualified applicants for admissions, scheduled and conducted interviews with qualified candidates for enrollment, and participated in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities. Jennifer also determined appropriateness of candidates for admission based upon career goal compatibility and accurately forecasted projected new student enrollment.

In their current role as Acting Dean of Students at Pima Community College, Jennifer Madrid is responsible for overseeing the Student Affairs division and providing support to students. Jennifer is committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for all students at Pima Community College.

Jennifer Madrid's educational career consists of a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix-Southern Arizona Campus in the field of Adult Education & Training, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from the University of Phoenix-Southern Arizona Campus in Business Management.

Jennifer Madrid reports to Dolores Duran-Cerda, Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Excellence. Jennifer Madrid works with Gregory Wilson - Dean of Applied Technology, James Craig - Dean of Business, and Kenneth Chávez - Dean of Communications.
