Casey May

Casey May has over 12 years of work experience in the renewable energy industry. Currently, May is working as the Vice President of Project Siting at Pine Gate Renewables, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, May was the Sr. Director of Project Siting at Pine Gate Renewables from October 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Pine Gate Renewables, May was the Managing Partner at Foundation Solar Partners, where they were responsible for developing a portfolio of utility scale projects in Pennsylvania. May began their career at FLS Energy, where they held various roles including Senior Developer of Greenfield Assets and Preconstruction Manager. During their time at FLS Energy, May successfully originated and developed over 1GW of projects in the Southeast US and reduced construction costs by 24% within two years. May also worked as the Director of Market Development at Cypress Creek Renewables, where they led the implementation of strategies to enter new markets and ensured consistency in branding and messaging.

Casey May holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
