Jeff la Point

Jeff La Point has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several years. Jeff is currently the VP of Contracts & Procurement at Pine Gate Renewables since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Procurement at Leeward Renewable Energy, LLC from September 2022 to March 2023. From 2019 to 2022, they held various roles at Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives, Inc. (IEA), including Director of Pre-construction and Project Executive. Jeff also worked as the Director of EPC Procurement at Clearway Energy Group in 2018. Before that, they had a long tenure at First Solar, where they served in multiple positions, including Director of EPC Project Management, Director of EPC Procurement, and EPC Project Manager. Jeff started their career at General Motors in 1995 as a Co-op and later held various roles, including SQE Manager and Quality Advisor.

Jeff La Point completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Toledo in 1998. Later on, they pursued an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2006. In 2008, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Resolution from Antioch University Midwest. Lastly, they completed their Doctor of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Management from Baker College in 2012.
