Ronald Ma has a diverse work experience in risk management and investment risk analysis. Ronald currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Global Investment Risk at PineBridge Investments, where they oversee investment risk on a global scale and leads a team in Asia, EMEA, and the US. Prior to this, Ronald served as the Senior Risk Manager at PineBridge Investments, where they chaired the Asia ex Japan and Taiwan Risk and Capital Committee, developed risk control protocols for ESG risk monitoring, and automated data feed for risk report generation. Before joining PineBridge Investments, Ronald held roles at ICBC Asset Management (Global) as a Senior Manager in Risk Management, at Tyee Capital Group as the Head of Risk and Compliance, and at LIM Advisors as VP of Risk Management.

Ronald Ma completed their education in the field of Chemical Engineering. Ronald obtained a BEng degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology between 1993 and 1996. Ronald further pursued an MPhil degree in Chemical Engineering at the same institution from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, Ronald Ma obtained certifications in the CFA from the CFA Institute in 2002 and in the FRM from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in 2000.
