Laura Barber, PhD, currently serves as the EMEA Intelligence Program Manager at Microsoft since July 2022 and has been a Senior Intel Analyst at PINKERTON | Comprehensive Risk Management since March 2020. With extensive experience as a freelance consultant and project manager from February 2019 to March 2020, Laura previously worked as a Global Threat Analyst at Chevron and a Political & Security Analyst at PwC. Additional roles include Deputy Head of Intelligence at AKE, Africa Assistant Programme Manager at LSE IDEAS, and South Sudan Risk Consultant & Project Manager at Burton Rands Associates Ltd. Laura’s academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations and multiple master's degrees from prestigious institutions, including The London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Bristol.
