John Cavalieri

Mr. Cavalieri is an executive vice president and asset allocation strategist at PIMCO, based in the firm’s Newport Beach, CA headquarters. In this capacity, he oversees a $19 billion multi-asset product suite. He also serves in a leadership capacity in PIMCO’s firm-wide product governance processes and committees. Previously, he served as an inflation solutions strategist and also was a member of the Dow Jones-UBS Commodity Index Advisory Committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2003, Mr. Cavalieri worked a software start-up, xSides Corporation, as the director of finance. Before that he worked in the investment banking division at Credit Suisse First Boston. He has 23 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
