Heather Coates

Heather Coates is a skilled biologist with a diverse background in wildlife and environmental research. Currently employed at Pinyon Environmental, Inc. since September 2022, Heather has previously held positions including Wildlife Biologist at Commonwealth Heritage Group, Inc., and Field Biologist at WestLand Resources, Inc. Additional experience includes roles as a Wild Horse and Burro Technician at Colorado State University, Migration Monitoring Crewmember at HawkWatch International, Field Technician for the Western Yellow-billed Cuckoo Project with the Southern Sierra Research Station, and Field Conservation Research Assistant at the Phoenix Zoo. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology and Ecology from Arizona State University, completed in 2018.
