Alexander Hassan has extensive experience in contract management and procurement within the defense industry. Alexander started their career as a Contracting Officer for the United States Department of Defense in 2007, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing contracts and acquiring goods and services for the department.

In 2014, Alexander joined the F-35 Joint Program Office as the F-35 Propulsion Procurement Contracts Lead. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the procurement contracts related to the F-35 program's propulsion systems. Before that, they obtained the DAWIA Purchasing Level 2 certification in June 2012 and the DAWIA Program Management Level 1 certification in March 2010, both from the United States Department of Defense.
