Chidi Obi

Chidi Obi has over 24 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Chidi currently holds the position of Director of Analytical Development at Abcuro, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant in Analytical Development at the same company. Before joining Abcuro, Inc., Chidi worked as an Associate Director of Analytical Development and Quality Control at Pionyr Immunotherapeutics. Chidi has also held positions at AstraZeneca, Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Portola Pharmaceuticals, XOMA, SRI International, and Maxim Medical, where they gained extensive experience in various analytical techniques and assay development. Chidi has managed multiple programs, collaborated with CROs and CDMOs, and led method development and validation activities. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in protein analysis and characterization.

Chidi Obi has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Analytical Chemistry from San Jose State University. Chidi also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. Hons) degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Additionally, Chidi has obtained certifications in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" and "Embracing Unexpected Change" from LinkedIn in 2021.
