Dylan Sather

Dylan Sather has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Dylan is currently a Co-Founder and Software Engineer at Pipedream, where they lead the DevRel, Customer, and Data organizations. Prior to that, they owned their own company, DJS Software LLC, from 2017 to 2019.

Dylan has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Instacart, focusing on the Data Science Platform. Dylan has served as an Instructor at UC Berkeley Extension for their Data Analytics Bootcamp, teaching from 2017 to 2018.

Earlier in their career, they co-founded and served as the CTO of MailCoach, where they were responsible for the Rate That Meeting platform. Dylan worked at Yahoo as a Lead Product Hacker, leading a team of 5 people and championing data-related initiatives. Before that, they were a Product Manager at BrightRoll, managing their internal reporting database and data pipeline strategy. Dylan also served as a Product Support Manager and IT Desktop Support for the company.

In their early career, Dylan worked as a Guest Services Team Leader at Target, managing a team and handling customer service-related issues. Dylan also worked as a Technical Advisor for the Grinnell Student Government Association, where they advised on campus technology.

Finally, they have experience at Grinnell College, where they held several roles including Helpdesk Manager, Technology Consultant, PHP/MySQL Developer, and Training Coordinator.

Dylan Sather attended Grinnell College from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science.
