Rayath Chowdhury

Rayath Chowdhury has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Rayath is currently working as a Senior Accountant at PipeDreams since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Business Owner at Imperial Solutions & Advisory starting from February 2020. From March 2021 to April 2023, Rayath worked as an Intuit Live Expert Accountant at Intuit, where they were certified as a ProAdvisor.

Rayath also has experience as a Co-Founder and CFO at Imperial Events, an event management company they co-founded in May 2019. In this role, they handled financial management, including maintaining the company's finances on QuickBooks and Excel, managing accounts receivable and payable, issuing invoices, and coordinating collections and vendor payments. Rayath held this position until January 2022.

Before starting Imperial Events, Rayath gained internship experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as part of their Corporate Tax Strategic Internship Program, where they assisted in compiling and analyzing financial data. Rayath also worked as an Associate Banker and Teller in the Consumer Banking division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. from November 2018 to November 2019.

In addition, Rayath had a wealth management internship at Gray Matter Enterprise from May 2018 to November 2018. Rayath also has prior experience in the food service industry, having worked at Dunkin' from January 2013 to May 2018, starting as a Crew Member and progressing to roles like Manager and Store Manager.

Rayath Chowdhury pursued a Master's degree in Accounting from The State University of New York, which took place from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, Rayath completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Accounting at the Zicklin School of Business, spanning from 2018 to 2021.

Additionally, Rayath has acquired several certifications relevant to their field. These include the Quickbooks Online Advanced Certification from Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor, obtained in September 2022. In February 2022, Rayath obtained the Intuit Academy Tax certification from Intuit. Furthermore, in September 2021, they earned the Intuit Certified Bookkeeping Professional certification from Intuit. Rayath became a Certified ProAdvisor through QuickBooks Online Professional in June 2020. They also obtained the Global Anti-Money Laundering Enterprise certification from JPMorgan Chase & Co. in both November 2019 and September 2020. Rayath's other certifications include the Authorized IRS E-File Preparer, (PTIN) from the Internal Revenue Service obtained in January 2020, and the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP acquired in August 2018.
