Aleksandr Smirnov

Aleksandr Smirnov has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in different companies. Aleksandr began their career as a Technical Support Specialist at Starman AS in 2015, where they provided technical assistance. In 2017, they joined Elisa Eesti AS, initially as an Information Technology Specialist, where they supported office workers and collaborated with specialists in various IT fields. Aleksandr later took on the role of Senior Technical Support Specialist, where they coordinated and escalated problems outside of their team leader's working hours.

In 2019, Aleksandr became an Information Technology Specialist at the Estonian Cyber Command, where they served as a conscript soldier. Aleksandr provided IT support to Estonian Defence Forces workers and monitored servers and applications, escalating issues to administrators when necessary.

Continuing their career progression, Aleksandr joined Prominion in 2020 as a Windows and SAP CCtr administrator, responsible for system administration tasks. Aleksandr then transitioned to Merada in 2022 as a Junior DevOps Engineer, where they focused on DevOps operations. Most recently, in the same year, they joined Pipedrive in the same role, further expanding their experience in DevOps engineering.

Aleksandr Smirnov completed their Bachelor's degree in IT Systems Development from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Aleksandr attended the university from 2020 to 2023. In addition to their degree, they also obtained a certification in CCNA: Introduction to Networks from Cisco in May 2022.
