Emil Angelov

Emil Angelov currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Glavbolgarstroy Holding since January 2024 and is a long-standing Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Piraeus Bank in Ukraine since September 2007. Emil has held key management roles across various financial institutions, including a position as General Manager at Piraeus Real Estate Bulgaria from July 2019 to January 2024, and as CEO at Piraeus Bank from May 2006 to July 2019, where additional responsibilities included Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of Executive Committee. Other significant positions include Member of the Management Board at Sky Asset Management since June 2019, Board Member and Executive Director at Piraeus Leasing Bulgaria, and Chairman and CEO at EUROBANK PLC in Bulgaria from March 2001 to May 2006. Emil's early career featured critical roles at Commercial Bank Biochim and I Bank PLC. Emil holds a Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Investments, and Securities from the University of National and World Economy, complemented by a high school education focused on Spanish Language and Literature.
