George Marinopoulos

George Marinopoulos has over 28 years of experience in financial management and reporting, currently serving as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer and General Manager for Group Financial Reporting, Accounting & Taxation at Piraeus Bank since February 2000. Prior positions at Piraeus Bank include Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Director of Business Planning & Investor Relations Division, and Analyst/Manager within the same division. Previously, George worked as an Analyst in the Economic Research Division at Ionian Bank from June 1995 to September 1999. Academically, George holds a Master of Science in Finance from Lancaster University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus.
