Roberto Garrone

Roberto Garrone has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Roberto is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Pirata Group since June 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Hotel Manager at Raffles Hotels & Resorts from March 2021 to June 2023. Roberto also worked as a Resort Manager at One&Only Cape Town from November 2018 to July 2020.

Before these roles, Roberto was the Corporate Director of Operations-food and beverage at One&Only Resorts from January 2015 to October 2018. Roberto also worked as an EAM food and beverage at Aberdeen Marina Club by Shangri-la from May 2013 to December 2014.

Earlier in their career, Roberto held positions such as Food and Beverage Director at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC from November 2010 to April 2013, Operation Manager & Regional Sommelier for Hyatt at Grand Hyatt Macau from July 2009 to November 2010, and Maitre D Hotel (Food and Beverage Manager) Sommelier for Hyatt China at Park Hyatt Beijing from September 2007 to July 2009. Roberto also served as a Restaurant Manager and Sommelier at Park Hyatt Beijing from March 2004 to August 2007.

From 1994 to 1997, Roberto Garrone attended Centro di Formazione professionale Alberghiera di Barolo. Roberto obtained a degree from this institution, although the specific field of study remains unknown.
