Pirate Experience Manager at Pirate Ship

Courtney Brooks has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Courtney began their career as a Customer Service Representative and Resident Advisor at California Baptist University. In 2012, they interned at the Riverside International Film Festival, helping screen film submissions and leading various tasks during the week-long festival. That same year, they held an internship at Antioch Church. In 2014, they joined Choose Growth as a Blog Curator, Instructional Designer, and Digital Marketing Strategist. In 2015, they worked as a Supervising Barista at Insomnia Coffee Co/ Dapper & Wise Roasters in Oregon, as well as a Communications Coordinator at A Jesus Church Family. In 2017, they joined Vacasa as a Reputation Management Senior Specialist, helping to handle reviews of Vacasa properties and responding to customer inquiries. Since 2019, they have been employed by Pirate Ship, holding roles as Head of Onboarding, Learning + Development, Manager of Onboarding, Learning + Development, Onboarding and Training Lead, and Customer Service Specialist.

Courtney Brooks attended Brawley Union High School from 2005 to 2009, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from California Baptist University in 2013.
