Brandon Nilles

Brandon Nilles is a seasoned professional in the rigging and manufacturing fields, currently serving as a Manufacturing Specialist and Assistant Shop Technician at Caltech since April 2019. Nilles has extensive experience as a Rigging Lead for Burning Man and a Site Rigger for Do LaB, Inc., focusing on design, consultation, safety inspection, and operational management. Additional roles include Rigging & Special Projects at Bamboo DNA, House Rigger at Pirate's Dinner Adventure, and Rope Access Technician at Ropeworks, with responsibilities covering high-altitude work and infrastructure maintenance. Nilles holds a Master of Engineering in Additive Manufacturing and Design from Penn State University and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine, complemented by an Associate's degree from Pasadena City College.
