AJ Balboni

AJ Balboni is the Coordinator for Youth Hockey with the Pittsburgh Penguins, managing the Little Penguins Learn to Play program across nearly 30 hockey rinks in western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and West Virginia since November 2021. Prior to this role, AJ served as a Football Event Support Assistant with Penn State Football, providing ticket resolutions and guest services at Beaver Stadium. AJ's extensive experience at Penn State University includes serving as Operations Supervisor, overseeing arena operations, and coaching youth hockey programs. Additional roles include Zamboni Driver and Operations Assistant at Pegula Ice Arena, Assistant Hockey Coach at State College Area High School, and various positions with State College Spikes Baseball, including Assistant to the Assistant General Manager and Ticket Sales Associate. AJ holds a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management from Penn State University.
