Vasiliki Stavrakis

Vasiliki Stavrakis has extensive work experience in the educational research and program development sector. Vasiliki began their career at Pivot Point International in 1994 as a Program Associate, specializing in production and publishing. Vasiliki was then promoted to Manager of Educational Programs, where they managed various educational initiatives from 2001 to 2003. From 2004 to 2005, Vasiliki held the position of Director of School Program Development. Vasiliki then served as the Research Director for Art and Design from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they were promoted to the role of Director of Educational Research, a position they held until 2012. Vasiliki's most recent role at Pivot Point International is Senior Director of Educational Research, a position they have held since 2013. Alongside their career at Pivot Point International, Vasiliki also served as a Hair Designer for For Appearances Sake from 1996 to 2000.

Vasiliki Stavrakis began their education at Pivot Point Beauty School-Chicago in 1989 and completed their studies in 1990. Vasiliki then went on to attend City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College from 1980 to 1981. Additionally, they obtained various certifications throughout their career, including a Cosmetology Instructor License from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in 1991, an American Board of Certified Hair Colorist Certificate from ABCH in 1997, and a European Level B Teacher Certificate from the Danish Hairdressers and Beauticians Union in 2008. Vasiliki also holds certifications in Microsoft Teams Essential Training (2018), Microsoft Teams Quick Tips, and Microsoft Teams Tips and Tricks, all obtained in February 2020. More recently, they obtained certifications in Insights for Innovation from IDEO U in April 2020, as well as Foundations in Design Thinking and From Ideas To Actions from IDEO U in December 2021. Additionally, they hold a European Hairdressing Assessors Certificate from the Danish Hairdressers & Beauticians License, although the date of certification is not specified. Finally, they obtained a Certificate in Proficiency of English from The University of Michigan in 1992.
