Savonna Stender-Bondesson

Savonna Stender-Bondesson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience in program development and supervision within the field of social work. Currently serving as the Director of Coaching Programs at PIVOTAL since August 2017, Savonna leads the planning and implementation of programs for foster youth and supervises coaches providing academic and employment guidance. Previous roles include Associate Therapist at Yes To Therapy, where Savonna provided individual and group therapy, and Clinician I at Uplift Family Services, conducting risk assessments for high-risk youth. Savonna's background also includes significant experience in dependency investigations as a Social Worker III with the Department of Family and Children's Services and as an Academic Mentor during an MSW internship. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Utah.
