Emily Lockwood

Emily Lockwood currently serves as the Director of Women’s Political Power at Pivotal Ventures, a role held since November 2021. Prior to this position, Emily was a Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from October 2014 to October 2021. Emily's career also includes significant leadership roles such as Senior Managing Director of Brand Marketing and Digital Strategy at Teach For America, Digital Director at EMILY's List, and Deputy Director of Digital Fundraising and Field for Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Earlier experience includes managing digital advocacy and fundraising at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and serving as Communications Associate and Advance for Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi. Emily began their professional journey as a Project Manager at Carol/Trevelyan Strategy Group.
