Mike van der Ven

Mike van der Ven began their work experience as a Senior Associate at Coopers & Lybrand in 1995. In 1997, they became an Assistant Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia and held this role until 1999. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Senior Consultant at DiamondCluster International. Mike then joined The World Bank as an Operations Analyst from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they worked as a Finance Manager at the American Red Cross from 2006 to 2009. Mike then joined the Clinton Health Access Initiative and served as the Deputy Country Director in Ethiopia from 2009 to 2011, and as the Country Director in Cambodia & Deputy Regional Director - Southeast Asia from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Director of Operations and Finance for the HIV Vaccines Trials Network at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance and Operations at Pivotal Ventures since June 2016.

Mike van der Ven attended the University of Notre Dame from 1991 to 1995, although it is not specified what degree or field of study they pursued during that time. In 2000, they completed an MBA in Finance at INSEAD.
