Hugo Loi has a diverse range of work experience. Hugo started their career as a Junior Research Scientist at The Walt Disney Company in 2014. From there, they joined Pixminds as the Head of Engineering in January 2016. Hugo later became the Chief Technology Officer, where they played a key role in developing and industrializing the company's lead technologies. Hugo then became the Managing Director of Pixminds' subsidiary, Lexip, managing everything from R&D to marketing, production, and channel management. Hugo contributed to Pixminds' second private equity round and successfully launched their Kickstarter mouse in numerous retail stores. Hugo is currently serving as the Managing Director of Pixminds, overseeing the company's operations and focusing on channel development and category expansion. In addition to their work at Pixminds, they are also a Lecturer at École Polytechnique and a Shareholder at Time for the Planet. Overall, Hugo has a strong background in technology, leadership, and business development.

Hugo Loi began their educational journey in 2007 at Lycée du Parc, where they pursued their secondary education. In 2009, they enrolled at the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble and completed their Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science in 2012. Following this, they joined Université Grenoble Alpes, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from 2012 to 2015. During their doctoral studies, in 2014 and 2015, they also served as a Visiting PhD student at Princeton University, focusing on the field of Computer Science. Lastly, in 2021 and 2022, Hugo Loi participated in the Techshare 7th edition program at Euronext, further enhancing their knowledge in an unspecified field of study.
